Everybody's Favorite Friday in Spicewood!

Benji Lamar is an Austin based singer-songwriter that has been performing professionally as a solo artist and with his band City of Decades since 2014. He is heavily influenced by great hit makers of the past like Frank Sinatra and The Beatles as well as the Pop-Punk he grew up with like Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy. Sprinkle some Americana pop like The Lumineers in there and you have Benji Lamar.

Songs inspired by nature--melodic, mellifluous, and musical as hell. Jon uses the strings (no vocals!) to paint pictures and elicit emotions where words fall short. Think of him as a singer/songwriter, without all of that singing.

Jon’s CDs feature themes inspired by nature, including Salmon Run, Music for Redwoods, Wild River, and Gray Whale Migration. His Texas Hill Country CD helps you visualize the landscape and natural forces that shape the heart of Texas. Leave the stress of the day at the door and get ready to melt into your chair.

Roots from reggae, soul and blues-- to classic country, texas swing and traditional bluegrass. Ocotillo is solo mandolin, guitar and vocals with occasional guests, playing traditional bluegrass, old-time fiddle, and original music.

A 3 to 5 piece band consisting of Tenor Banjo, Accordion, trombone, fiddle, guitar, mandolin and tuba. We are based out of Wimberley TX and play Early jazz, Traditional French fiddle tunes, Dance music from the Balkans and turn of the century Classical ragtime Compositions.

Clint & The Cosmic Wake (C&TCW) is a genre-bending Texas Rock/Blues band with an eclectic influence spanning from gospel to metal. Clint Echols (vocals, lead guitar) began playing Country music in the ‘90s with seasoned musicians in places like the “Chinkapin” in Uncertain, TX. He has played continuously since those days, eventually pairing up with “Flute Man” Greg McDonald (drums) who started 40 years ago playing in his father’s Country band and drumming between sermons at church. Dan Giddens (bass) spent nearly a decade playing bass in metal bands before joining the crew. April Echols fills out the sound with crafty harmonies, rhythm guitar, and sarcasm. The band’s unique blend of sound seamlessly weaves in their own earthy original tunes while paying tribute to the stylings of Texas greats such as SRV & ZZ TOP.

Douglas Gene is an Austin based Sinner-Songwriter who blends traditional American sounds and styles with a modern and inventive approach. His lyrics are edgy and honest, delivered in his powerful and strident voice which can alternately croon sweetly or thoroughly electrify. Gene walks Country Roads in the footsteps of giants like Lightnin’ Hopkins, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Jimmy Page, Woody Guthrie and Jeff Buckley. He has has two solid albums under his belt. "Daydream", released in 2017, is a country tinged acousti-splosion. "Knighthorse", his most recent release, is a modern rock odyssey with dense production, searing guitar solos and haunting melodies.
